**Terra Whisetta** - chihuahuas

The Chihuahua has two kinds of coats, shorthair who is the most similar to the origin type, and longhair. It shall has a slightly rectangular body, with happy, and efficient movements. Ideell weight is from 1,5 kg to 2,5 kilo. The head shall be shaped as an apple with a short muzzle, and a marked stop. Characteristic for the breed is their a happy, gay tail.

Longhaired and shorthaired are two different breeds, but you can have one shorthaired and mate with a longhaired, and vice versa.

Length of the coat can be seen when the puppies are 14 days old, all colours and combinations of those are allowed.

In spite of their size is the Chihuahua both capable and willingly to go long walks together with its owner. They is very easily trained, curious, alert and lively. All this makes that they really enjoys that it is action around, but they also love to be with its owner when they are calm, indoors and also to be a couchpotato, sit on the arm, or sit in a shoulderbag.

The Chihuahua is very social, and left to much alone they can be stressed and unhappy.

They don’t like to be fuzzed with to much, and must not be overprotected, with right care and understanding, they will be very tuff and big for their size. You must have some attention together with dogs they don’t knows very well, they are very small. They adapt the surroundings very quickly, and are therefore suitable as a pet and familydog in the country as well as in the town.

Chihuahuas don’t demands very much grooming, but their coat has to be brushed true once in a while, claws must be cut regularly, and their teeth must be cleaned quite often.

So, if you look for a loyal, devoted dog who don’t need to much space, and don’t costs to much to hold?? And as the same time is someone to walk with each day, one with strong will, and a outgoing attitude, maybe a little "chi" can be something for you.

I have had Chiahuahua since 1994, both shorthair and longhair. Last summer I had my first litter. Father is Junior and mother is Bessie. Photo and pedigree will come soon.
