CASSETTES ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PLATFORM.

Bookshelf type installation  Living quarter installation  Module on a lay-down area  Previous page.

Cassette hanging from a "bookshelf" bracket

It is very efficient to install cassettes mounted on the outside of the platform. This may be done simply by applying our "bookshelf" principle, or if the platform has got available space on lay-down areas, cassettes may easily be installed here. The principles are well suited for platform extensions like compressor cassettes, water injection cassettes, satellite tie-up units, water treatment cassettes etc.

Picture showing a typical bokk-shelf type cassette installation. Artist impression of the arrangement of an additional module hanging on the outside of a platform. The module is simply lifted up and connected to the beams and bracing above. The systems interface area lies between the module and the platform in a passage way.

Installing living quarters

Picture showing how a living quarter is installed by using a floating crane. Installing a living quarter by using a huge floating crane works fine. However, the PEF method can do the job to a much lower cost simply by lifting from a barge or a supply vessel.

Picture shoing how a living quarter is installed by using the PEF method. This is an artist rendering showing how such an installation could be performed. The platform truss system is extended, and supports the lifting system. Below, you can see a transport barge with the SEACO system.
