Due to the construction boom (in the south of Tenerife in particular) of the last few years, there is a bewildering choice of holiday apartments to rent in Tenerife, through friends, relations, work colleagues, advertisements on the internet and in the newspapers, as well as through the traditional travel agent offering all in packages of apartment and flight. Generally the apartments offered by the travel industry as a package, are based on the newer complexes of apartments or aparthotels as they are sometimes called here, so the standards can usually be relied upon but whichever source you’re renting from do check on the age of both the apartment and the complex.
