Valentine Bear

Download the valentinebear-selections-file here.
Unzip the selections, and save it in your PSP selections-folder.

I have used Eye Candy 3.1 on this tutorial. You can  download it here.

Start by opening a new image, 450x550, transparent background.

Add a new layer, name it 'gift top'.
Selections - Load from disk - gift_top.sel. Floodfill with #202020.
Selection - Modify - Contract by 1. Floodfill with #F3F6F5.
Selections - Select None. Effects - Noise - Add 7% Uniform.

Add a new layer, name it 'gift side'.
Load gift_side.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #F3F6F5. Deselect.

Same layer. Load heart_side.sel. Floodfill with #202020.
Contract by 1. Floodfill with #D64A44. Deselect.

Same layer. Load ribbon_side.sel. Floodfill with #202020.
Contract by 1. Floodfill with #D64A44. Deselect.

Same layer. Load gift_side_shadow.sel.
Colors - Adjust - Brightness with -20. Deselect.
Add 7% Noise.

Add a new layer, name it 'gift front'.
Load gift_front.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #F3F6F5. Deselect.

Same layer. Load heart_front.sel. Floodfill with #202020.
Contract by 1. Floodfill with #D64A44. Deselect.

Same layer. Load ribbon_front.sel. Floodfill with #202020.
Contract by 1. Floodfill with #D64A44. Deselect.

Same layer. Load gift_front_shadow.sel.
Colors - Adjust - Brightness with -20. Deselect.
Add 7% Noise.

Add a new layer, name it 'shirt1'.
Load shirt1.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #5D7F35. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.

Add a new layer, name it 'tail'.
Load tail.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #B67C4E. Deselect.

Same layer. Load tail_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -30. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.

Effects - Plug-Ins Filters - Eye Candy - Jiggle, these settings:

Add a new layer, name it 'body'.
Load body.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #B67C4E. Deselect.

Same layer. Load body_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -30. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.
Jiggle, same settings as above.

Add a new layer, name it 'shirt2'.
Load shirt2.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #B688A40. Deselect.

Same layer. Load shirt2_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -20. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.

Add a new layer, name it 'leg'.
Load leg.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #B67C4E. Deselect.

Same layer. Load leg_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -30. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.
Jiggle, same settings as above.

Add a new layer, name it 'right arm'.
Load right_arm.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #B67C4E. Deselect.

Same layer. Load right_arm_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -30. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.
Jiggle, same settings as above.

Add a new layer, name it 'left arm'.
Load left_arm.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #B67C4E. Deselect.

Same layer. Load left_arm_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -30. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.
Jiggle, same settings as above.

Add a new layer, name it 'shirt arm'.
Load shirt_arm.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #B688A40. Deselect.

Same layer. Load shirt_arm_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -20. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.

Add a new layer, name it 'ears'.
Load ears.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #B67C4E. Deselect.

Same layer. Load ears_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -30. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.
Jiggle, same settings as above.

Add a new layer, name it 'head'.
Load head.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #B67C4E. Deselect.

Same layer. Load head_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -30. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.
Jiggle, same settings as above.

Add a new layer, name it 'muzzle'.
Load muzzle.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #B67C4E. Deselect.

Same layer. Load muzzle_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -30. Deselect. Add 7% Noise.
Jiggle, same settings as above.

Add a new layer. Name it 'nose and eyes'.
Lode nose_eyes.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Deselect.
Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel, these settings:

Add a new layer, name it 'balloons'.
Load balloons.sel. Floodfill with #202020. Contract by 1.
Floodfill with #D64A44. Deselect.

Same layer. Load balloons_shadow.sel.
Adjust Brightness with -10. Deselect.

Same layer. Load balloons_white.sel.
Floodfill with white. Deselect.

Add a new layer. Name it 'string'.
Layers - Arrange - Send to bottom.
Use your Draw Tool , color: #202020, size 2,
and draw strings from the balloons and behind the tail.
Inner Bevel, same settings as above.

Make sure this one are at the top layer.
. Use your Text Tool, Vector and Antialiased checked,
 and write what ever you want on the balloons.

Use the handle to turn the text in the right position.
Layer - Convert to Raster Layer.

I have used the font; First-grader.
