During World War II several hundred aircrafts were shot down or crashed in Norway. At this site I will try to gather information about some of these, mainly those which crashed in the southern parts of Norway. If you think you have additional information to what i have gathered, please contact me, because i am still missing a lot of details. Also, do not hesitate to contact me if you find an error.

Please take your time and leave a note in my guestbook, i very much appreciate the feedback i get from this.

Most of the pictures this site has been photographed by me, and some are used with kind permission from others. However, if anyone should find images that are copyrighted, please contact me and i'll remove them or give appropriate credit. Due to space limitations, it was necessary to decrease quality and size on the pictures. However, i have them in larger sizes and better quality if anyone's interested. This will also make the site load faster for those with slow connections (like me).

My intention with this site is to shed some light on what happened to the aircrafts and aircrews that took part in the air war over Norway, both axis and allies.

Anyone who intends to visit a crashsite should treat it with respect, and i urge everyone not to remove any parts that are found. To do so is also strictly forbidden by Norwegian law.

This web-site is made out of pure interest in WWII history,  WWII aviation and WWII aircraft only.
