March 9^th till 11^th Arne and Tobben invited to an AbFab Weekend at their wonderful house in Sandnes.

From Oslo went Sigbjorn, Roy, Trond, Vebjorn and me - the rest came from Stavanger and its surroundings.

We had met many of them earlier - during the "Anti-Urban Weekend" last year. This was supposed to be the

opposite, and the hosts had planned a busy and exciting weekend.

With Arne as the chef there were no doubts the menu would be tastefull and exciting.

Friday night he made canapees and snacks, and the party went on as expected. Drinking? Oh - no!

As one would expect in a tasteful home there was a strict dresscode, and any violations to it meant less points

in the competition the next day. Anyway - Friday was casual, but no jeans allowed! Here are some photos from

After a good night's sleep, the competition day started with a champagne breakfast.

Today Tobben's cousin Anita came to help Roy in the competition.

Saturday's supper and party were a great success. The food was so good it put tears in our eyes.

No less than 7 courses. The host kind of faded out after the offical programme was over, and fell

asleep. Some of us continued untill early hours with dancing and catwalking…

Sunday we finished off with a great breakfast and an absolutely fabolous coffee!!!

Time to leave - and a sleepy and happy bunch reached Oslo in the afternoon.

Many Thanks to Arne and Tobben for a marvellous weekend!! It abslolutely deserved

the name "AbFab". We are still dreaming of Parma ham and Mozarella cheese…
