I grew up in Naustdal, a small place in the western part of Norway, and started playing indoor volleyball at the age of 10. For 11 years I played for Tambarskjelvar, the local club in Naustdal, where we won several medals in the Norwegian Championship for juniors. When I moved to Oslo, I played for OSI for 4 years. Now I play for Lier in the Elite division in Norway. I took my first volleyball steps in the sand in 1994, but it was not until 1999 that I first started to play more actively and participated in several tournaments. Participating in Fanta Tour in Denmark in 1999 was a great experience for me. I discovered how fantastic it is to play beachvolley with sun, music, and meeting a lot of nice people. Together with my previous partner (Asta), Hilde, and her previous partner (Toril) we had a lot of fun travelling around in Norway. Asta and I ended 5th in the National Championship 2000. In 2001 I started playing with Hilde and now I am ranked 6'th in Norway.
