What is the Society?
We have all had different experiences in history, but nevertheless we are all South Africans. People in Southern Africa and family and friends of South Africans have also forged
strong ties with SA. Everybody can make a difference to the Society because every person is a part of society - regardless of ones professional title and job.
SASN is a non-political, social and cultural group of South Africans and friends of South Africa living in Norway. The aim of the Society is to provide a gathering point for everyone.
At our gatherings and meetings we have shown that it is possible for us to interact in a positive way. In this way we see ourselves as a potential instrument for peace development and promotion of
harmonious co-existence in our country, South Africa. We also see ourselves as another channel of enhancing understanding and co-operation between the people of South Africa and Norway in the long run.
