Curiousities.

Sometimes misprints can have fatal consequences. My worst experience was against Van Kempen during XIII CC Ol.

But other times - like in my first real tournament in 1972 (before the days of computers in the times of rock 'n roll) things did not turn out too bad after all! Look what happened!

Double Trouble! OTB - vs Postchess
In 1987 Randabergs OTB team travelled up the coast to Bergen to play in the national league. I played against Stig Børje Larsen and managed  to send my rooks around the edges to accomplish a nice ending!
5 years later our team became Norwegian Champions in postchess. I lost only one game (won the rest), Stig Børje got his revenge  after discovering a beautiful move in the endgame! Click for games!
