Generally

Kosmor

My name is Ole Endre Bergerud (OEB). I'm born on September 9, 1981, which means I should be 20 years old, but I'm still a teenager in mind. Once a teenager, always a teenager. I live in nice surroundings at the countryside in Norway on the farm Kvernan. My interests are mainly vegetaranism, cats, film and computers.

Feel free to mail me about everything, especially if you have any comments, suggestiones or language corrections. And don't forget to sign my guestbook!

Meat is murder!

NOAH (English) People for the Ethanical Treatment of Animals

If everyone in the world became vegetarians, it would be a wonderful world. I suppose that in the future, they'll look back at today's killing of animals in disgust. Like we look on people who eat other humans today. Sometime the world must understand that something is very wrong.... I've been a vegetarian since I was about seven years old. Take a look at the links page for links to other vegetarian pages.

Computers

A picture of my HP-85. Click to see a bigger picture.

The first computer I ever used was a Tiki 100, at school. Tiki was (or is) a Norwegian computer company. They supplied computers for schools in many years. The Tiki 100 had a seperate color screen, but the keyboard was built into the system unit, which had no harddisk but two 5.25 disk drives. An operating system similar to BASIC was built into BIOS, I assume.
The first one I got myself was the HP-85 you see to the right. I bought it in 1991 (I think). It's a pretty small computer with a built-in screen, printer and keyboard, and uses BASIC as user interface. I tried to search for information on this on the Net, but there was very little, and I couldn't find a picture! So here is maybe one of the very few pictures of a HP-85. My second, «real», PC was an old 86XT as we bought used in december 1991. Then it went a long time, till december 1995 (I think), then I got an offer about an IBM 286AT for the XT. This took some time, but in I got it in January or February. But this time it didn't go long. I had «confession» in May, and bought a new Olivetti Pentium 75Mhz. I've still got it, and nearly all programs and games I've tried have worked!! But I notice that it's going a bit slow at times, and some Win95 games don't run very smoothly. I don't really see why all game companies make Win95 games now. All of them would have run just as good, and even better (and faster) in DOS!!

I've done some programming in QuickBasic, i.e. a game called Save the World, there are some bugs, but you can download it from this page, along with some VB programs I made at school. It looks like a game from the eightees, since I've build up most of the graphics with ASCII characters.

School work

Check back here later to read various schoolworks I've written!
