Abe's Oddysee
|
GT Interactive |
Original platform game with 3D effects |
Runs fine on my Pentium 75 with 32 mb RAM, but Pentium 120 with a minimum of 16 mb RAM is recommended. Also needs Windows 95 with DirectX, and SVGA graphics card with support for 16-bit High Color |
Joypad (10 buttons are recommended; if you have less than 6 you'll have to use the keyboard, sound (music & sfx) |
 |
You control a little green man named Abe. He belongs to the mudoconers. The mudoconers is beeing kept as slaves at some evil creatures. They've figured out that they don't need the mudoconer's as slaves any more, and that they taste pretty good!!! Abe must rescue the other Mudoconers before it's too late! A joypad is highly recommended for this original platform game. Just like Neverhood, it can't be compared to any other game. You play one screen at a time, and have unlimited lives. You only have to play the last screen from the beginning. Howewer, the save option is disabled in the demo. |

It took five years to develop this great platform adventure from Amazing Studios, featuring over 50 minutes of full motion video in 3D, amazing graphics, 170 locations, 8 worlds, great stereo sound effects and music performed by the Simfonia of London. In the package you also get a pair of 3D glasses! This is a very fun and exciting game with a great save feature, because you never have to take the same level twice. The game is built up of screens, once you've escaped a screen, you'll almost never return (unless you want too), and the game is automaticly saved. Up to four players can use the same computer to play the game, with an 'assign player' feature. You play the boy Andy, who has to travel to another dimension to rescue his dog Whisky. So, download the demo today, and buy the game tomorrow! |

A great, but very difficult game based upon the Jurassic Park movie and the book. Much better than Trespasser, though. I have a whole page devoted to this game, and, as far as I know, it's unique - it's almost impossible to find anything about this game (except the passwords). You can read more about Jurassic Park in general on my Jurassic Park site. |
Unfortunately, it was never made a demo of this game. Most likely because of the huge levels (it would be too much to play in the demo), or maybe it wasn't necessary, you know, it's JURASSIC PARK! :-) |

An incredible game based upon on Disney's best cartoon ever. By the way, a successor is on the way (ehh...), called Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, most likely a direct-to-video release, coming soon. Most likely there's a new game coming, too, I read that it was going to be released in October. Let's hope it's true... Back to the excellent original. Unfortunately Disney seems to profile their Activity centers much more than the real games, which I think is bad. Anyway, you control Simba in his journey from a lion cub to a grown up lion ready to meet Scar... In this demo you'll be able to play the first level.

An incredible new Sonic game in "3D". Maybe I'll actually buy it!! DirectX seems to get better, too. This game starts up as smoothly as a DOS or Mac game, and no setup is needed! It jumps right into fullscreen and I can use my joypad at once. Incredible. Unfortunately it's a one-level-only demo and I haven't got a link to it yet. |

[OEB 97- 99] The game that continues the story in The Lost World: Jurassic Park. It's like an electronic successor. Trespasser is distributed by Electronic Arts. The game was released in the U.S. 10.27.98, and is now available worldwide. Finally, after two and a half years of development. It was originally planned to be released Spring 1998 (or maybe even Autumn 1997). Even so, the first release was a bit buggy, but there is a patch (to come here soon, check out Trespasser Central for now). At Trespasser Central and the official site Trespasser.com, you'll find the latest news. Nearly all net-magazines I've read state that's a great game (some hates it, though...)! Note: Actually, the demo "runs" on my Pentium 75, but veeeery slow... The game was really not all that great, it did not be half of what the hype said it was supposed to be. I have only tested the demo on my computer, but the graphics seems long from natural (rather squarish (a new English word I made up right now) and ugly, actually. It's slow and the controlling with mouse and keyboard at the same time. You are not able to use a joypad for all the movements, for example (and I hate mouse controlling). The controls itself are rather complicated and strange, too. Can be fun (especially to be eaten by a raptor), but I think it'll do with the demo. At least till it comes out for sale. The full version is, by the way, filled with bugs. The original Jurassic Park (see above), is much better.

30 mb. This demo contains a "short" level not included in the full version. It has a crackable time limit . |
