MY PERSIANS

My first purebred cat was a black-smoke Persian:  (N) Zospito's Johnny. He was the first smoke Persian I had ever seen, and I became deeply fascinated with this special color. Today all my Persians is neutered since I decided to only breed Siamese, but on every show I attend I still look in the catalogue for any smokes, and if there is any I always have to take a look. Unfortunately there are much to few of them.

Amanda became mine for two reasons: She is Johnny's daughter, and, even if it doesn't show in the picture, she has an incredible black color and large eyes  with an intense color which I had a strong faith in would be a plus to my  planned smoke-breeding. Amanda is a loving, small female, which is everybody's  friend. She has a quiet stubbornness that ensures that she most of the time get  things the way she wants them, but we don't always realize it.

Azazia's litter-sister and the complete opposite personality. She is almost too peaceful, and even though she is a relative large cat, I sometimes see the  use of a note telling me that "remember Amira". If there are any confrontations between the other cats, she will disappear quietly under the sofa and reappear when the storm has  passed.

"Tommy" is for me the nearly perfect smoke. His color (when his fur hasn't been exposed for my scissors) is rather astonishing. and he also has rather nice  type. The most obvious fault is a rather long tail for a Persian. Tommy lives with my mother, in her living room, at first because he as a kitten had a servere  allergy towards Siamese cats, later on because it was practical since he was a  fertile male. Even if he now is neutered, he see himself as the "King" of the  living room, and has no interest of sharing his kingdom with other four-legged  animals. When he was fertile, he always was annoyed by judges wanting to  check if he had both stones, and had no problems with telling them so. Now that  he is neutered that shouldn't be a problem anymore, so he would probably bee seen at a show in the future.
