Austrian Arrows - Vienna twice daily

MALÈV expanding with 5 new aircrafts at BXB

The low-cost is coming to BXB! Ryanair starts daily flights to London Stansted

German low-cost enters Hungary! Air Berlin, Germanwings, Hapag Llloyd Express and dba

Aeroflot flights to Moscow and St.Petersburg - Daily

SN Brussels to Brussels  - Three times daily

SAS to Copenhagen - Three times daily

Icelandair to Reykjavik- Daily

Alitalia to Rome- Four times daily

 

 

 

5th of June 2004

We welcome the summer with new flights and additional airlines!

We welcome United Airlines` Daily flights to Los Angeles, Lufthansa`s more frequent flights to Germany as well as to the rest of the world, and Qantas`s daily flights to Sydney -Kingsford

We would also like to mention future Airlines flying to Budapest, most likely from medio June 2004, as well as their destinations: Air India to Delhi, EL-AL to Tel-Aviv, British Aiways to Chicago - O`Hare, Canadian Airlines to Vancouver and Montreal, Air France to Corsica, China Airlines to Beijing, KLM to Dubai, and as well as Swissair`s daily flight to Johannesburg.

We are looking forward to these, and many other new flights into this summer season.

We do also have some minor and more fatal changes in the flights to and from Budapest Metropolitan. You can read more about this and how it can effect you on our `airlines` page.

NEWS 3rd of April 2004

The re-construction work is done. The future plans are to start building the highway leading to BXB.  An Aiport Express Train station will also be built during the May/June months.  At the moment Bx2 Budapest Metropolitan Airport has five terminals.. Terminal One, The Regional Terminal, The Charter Terminal, The Low Cost Terminal and The Cargo Terminals A and B.

 

NEWS 15th Of JANUARY 2004

Budapest Airport is undergoing huge re-construction work at Terminal One.  This results in some delays and as far until now only five canceled flights. (for more info click here) The Tax-and Duty Free shops are also closed during this period. The construction work will be done within medio february / end of february . Each airline will inform their passengers about this.  All transfer passengers please read HERE

We are really sorry for the inconvenience this may cause our passengers.
