I've been wanting a saluki for as long as I've had a dream about my own dog - even longer than my fascination with IG's!
Who can resist those wise and soulful eyes, reflecting thousands of years of history? When my friend Evy wanted to import
another saluki (or two) from France to acompany her Queen-Wahima - but couldn't keep a male herself, I wasn't exactly hard
to convince :) And finally he was here, on Sunday the 24th of June!
He immediately bonded strongly to me, and I couldn't ask for more in a dog - he's gentle and also playful, very mild
tempered, but at the same time he knows what he wants, and he's not afraid to tell the other dogs when they misbehave.
He's a dream to walk on a leash, and easy to stack. On his first day, he sat on a wooden floor for 30 minutes (probably
veeery uncomfortable) before he dared to ask if he could join me on the sofa... But now, he's warmed more up, and he's a
happy and well ajusted dog with an very clear and well developed bodylanguage
