Karin and Jan Dahlen recorded some songs back in the late 80's. One song, however, was featured on the 'legendary' Blitz Hits, a double compilation album with bands from the Punk Rock scene of Oslo, way back then. Even though she made quite a few demos, collaborating with some of Norway's best rock musicians at the time, there were too many obstacles in the way to land a deal. Anyway those were great times, and she remembers with joy, the old rock bands she used to play in, playing covers, ranging from Rose Tattoo to Aerosmith, in between their own material. She was also 'banging' the drums for a while, but got fired for hittin' 'em too hard... She has calmed down a lot since then, she claims. |
Karin's got two great passions; music and racehorses. This proves she loves 'speed and sound'. She loves to ride around the track, working them horses and she just loves to sing.
In 2004 the album titled 'Full House' saw the break dawn, and the reviews were great. This is an honest album where she reveals both guts and vulnerability. Never doubt her, this comes straight from her heart. She is a great live artist and she is not pulling back the reins!
