This demo is in fact from 1997 (Gravity 2), but it was recompiled for the ppc a few days after the release of Everything dies. I remember seeing the demo when it came for the 68k, and as far as I can remember, it isn't really that much faster, on aga at leased. Cgx users will get a bigger difference though! I'm not saying that it isn't fast though, it's a real pleasure to watch! As you can see from the screen-shot, there's amiga demo routines, but also some very nice 3d scenes. There's 68k, PowerUP and WarpOS executables, you'll have to get the wos version from another archive though!

Some of you might ask why the wos version isn't faster than the pup one ?! Steffen said: The compiler which was used was a early Alpha vbcc-warpup. This compiler version only worked in the lowest optimizer level ("No optimizing")

Now for some information about the production and it's authors. Code was done by Noe and Bjsebo, Graphics by Lazur, tracking by Wierza and Venture. To run the demo you'll need a ppc card, ppc.library (or WarpOS v14 for the wos version), AHI, dbplayer.library and some fast ram, a stack of about 1mb (not surtain about this), cgx is optional. You can find the demo and wos version on Aminet
