Diamond Quest is Ukonx' first ppc demo, but it is a very good release! With only one "lightwave" scene, the rest of the routines makes it more of a regular 68k demostyle-show than any of the other ppc demos, except that everything is damned fast, more colourfull and bigger! For quite some time only a PowerUP version existed, but who wants pup when you can run WarpOS ? Steffen Haeuser had that thought (if not that exact though, one that was very close to it =) and recompiled the exe to wos, you can find the extra archive on aminet or on our wł site. Now for some information about the production and it's authors. Code was done by Deemphasis, Graphics by Unison and Batou, tracking by Unison and Deemphasis. To run the demo you'll need a ppc card, ppc.library (or WarpOS v14 for the wos version), AHI, and some fast ram, a stack of about 1mb (for the WarpOS version), no cgx is available. | |
