Infusion is a duo from Norway consisting of Roar Brattås on keyboards and Trond Robertsen on the drums.

The band was formed early spring 2002 (June), and went by the name "Miksa" for a long time. The idea that started it all was to make a little performance for a graduation party at school, and Roar and Trond decided to make a song for the occasion. As the song evolved and starting to contain covers from bands such as Symphony X and Dream Theater the two felt a good musical chemistry and it became clear... This would eventually become a band.

They used the name "Miksa" only as a temporary name and in February 2003 they changed their name to Infusion.

The music of Infusion is not very easy to define, some would call it rock, some would call it progressive movie music, but the actual concept of Infusion is to make "moody" music which involves a lot of feelings and life. But if you were to put it in a bracket, progressive movie music with metal drumming would be the one.
