A little about Hakon

I was born in 1951 and grew up in Oslo. Julia and I got married in 2001. I have two kids, a daughter and a son. Now I'm also a grandpa! I have now also three beautiful steph daughters! We are five siblings, Per, Eva, Olav, Berit and me.

I started driving motorcycles in 1992 to avoid the long traffic lines going to work. This quickly became a passion and I began taking tours with friends around Scandinavia and Europe, and even to USA! To travel and to experience new places is always exciting and will be a high priority in the future!

A little about Julia

I was born in California in 1953 and moved to Oregon in 1973. I have three daughters, one brother, one sister, my parents and nieces, nephews and cousins living in the US that I miss very much!

In June 2001 I married Hakon in San Francisco and now we live in Hvittingfoss, Norway which is about an hours drive from Oslo. We have bought a small house with just enough room for us and two extra bedrooms for company (hint, hint)!

A little about our kids

Hakon's daughter Elisabeth has a son Marius and is a veterinerian in Oslo.

Hakon's son Lars He has now start to study as a nurse.

Julia has three daughters. Jenica works as a landscape gardener in Portland and has a son (Oops I mean dog, Tucker) :) Rianna lives in Boise with her boyfriend Corey and is working in Boise, Idaho. She is a nurse, and Kasey lives in Tucson, Arizona, and is an elementary school teacher. All three girls have visited Norway and we hope they come back often!
