The history of Compress
It all begun in 1998 when Stig, Erling, and Jørgen decided to get together and play Sex Pistols covers. These covers stunk (thereby the name), so they made up their mind and decided to start writing their own music. Summer of 2000 the demo (EP, album, whatever..) "Bastards" was released. This release consisted of 10 songs on a total of 21 minutes. Compress played a lot of gigs and were quite well-thought-of in Trondheim. But in February 2001 Stig decided to leave the band. Hallvard joined Compress shortly after, and in summer, 2002 "Antidisco" was created in Sarath Studio.
