Since its so individual what people fancy regarding ringtones and since they are so easy to get hold of I will not put any here. However if you are into rock I suggest you have a look at my ringtones.
Preparations:
- Search the web for your desired midi file. If there's a certain segment of the tune you want I suggest you download MidiSplitter and cut out the wanted part.
- Open Nokia Sound Converter (Turns the midi file into a filetype that the phone understands)
- Press Next then locate and open the midi file. Choose the Target phone and choose wether you want Simple or Advanced editing (I suggest Advanced because of a keyfeature called Optimize file size. Read more in step 4)
- Play around with the channel values etc. and use the Play as on the phone feature to get a feel on how it will sound. I suggest you do not turn on the Optimize file size since it will in most cases kill the entire sound of the tone ie. you won't hear a thing.
- Press Next once more inside Nokia Sound Converter and save the file somewhere on your harddrive.

As explained above you may use any picture you can get hold of on your phone. There is no limitation in filetype either though .jpg is recommended because of its comprimation ie. least space consuming. View the images I currently have installed on my phone in the Gallery.

Adjust the size of the image to correspond the size of your phones screen (Nokia 66/7210 approximately 135x135 pixels) and save it. Nokia Image Converter is great for this.
