Many of this encryption tools uses a 1024 bit asymmetric cipher to encrypt/decrypt files
(PKI) and installs itself on the PC. Some uses tools to automatically encrypts or decrypts
messages. Many applications are uneasy to use and complicated.
Fen-Cry is made up of two words, Fenja256 (Hash function) and Crypto.
Fencry is easy to use and it's strong (256 bits symmetric encryption).
Also It includes a random key generator that can help you make a strong
and random
cipher key. The importance to choose a strong cipher key can not be under
emphesised.
There is no installation file to run before using Fencry so you can start
it on a nettwork,
cdrom a memmory stick and so on.
On a 3Ghz PC, the creation of subkeys (hash function) takes about 8 seconds
!
This makes it hard to analyze the algorithm or attack the cipher key by
brute force.
Fencry also uses a open radom key on 256 bits. This key is mixed in to
the hash function
in order to make every "cryptogram" unique, even if the same
secret key is used every time.
This function is very important in stream ciphers, because it protects
against
"reused key attack". 256 bits provide billions of more combinations
than there are
atoms in our galaxy !
