about me

this is me
I was born a chilly october night in 1976 at a small hospital in Stokmarknes, Norway. Most of my life I have been living in Sortland, but when I turned 18 i moved to Narvik to study. I don't know what I think about Narvik, but I were definitively ready to move when I was done with the three years of study at HiN.

Yes, this is me

I moved to Trondheim to study some more, stayed at NTNU for three years, went to Australia for some months of studying at QUT and travel before I moved to Oslo, the capital of Norway. I enjoy Oslo very much, especially the music scene is much better here than I was used to living up north.

I began to dive whilest in Australia, the sharks and all the beautiful reef-fish totally blew me away. It is still sort of a thrill to watch discovery channel or whatever, and see Whitetipshark, Silvertipsharks, Greynursesharks, Reefsharks or huge Mantarays and just think back to the times I have been diving with them. It's awesome.

During the winter I do abit snowboarding, but it has been a while now.

What else is there to know about me? I enjoy driving, I don't like _any_ religion, I do like potato chips, I hate paying my bills, Winter is ok, but I always miss the summer heat of Australia, I run Linux, and Win98 when I have to. I own 18(?) Metallica records, and a total of about 200. I throw away old cds. Which I always regret later. Its mid November and I still drive around in my car with summer tires. It's slippery when wet. It usually is. The M-key on my keyboard fails to work 9 out of 10 times I hit it. It gets annoying.

It's January, I've got a new keyboard, I've got two winter-tyres on my car, it's still slippery, Neutral Milk Hotel and Ryan Adams is a "must have" in any cd collection, I'm not sure if I have a girlfriend, I'm thinking about selling my car, I still drool over that Nissan 200sx, I'm broke, got a pile of bills, and I'm going to Finland on Wednesday.

Geez, it's March already, it's sunny, I've just been presenting Statnett to the students of NTNU, about 140 of them actually, I was terrified, it went pretty well. I spend alot of time listening to Placebo, especially their "placebo" album, girls still confuse me, I still want that 200sx, I have but up add's to try to sell my escort, no response yet though. I have been traveling alot the last couple of months, almost to much, but it's fun.

April, time flies when you have fun, right? I've been offered another job within Statnett. I don't know if I want it. I have to answer within this month. I've bought a new car. I love it. people are giving me a hard time, because it's a "penis enlargement"-car. if you ask me, it's pure fun. everybody seems to get a raise in salary, except me. it's annoying. I'm greedy. I got to run for the subway.

Mid August, it's been a while and the summer vacation is long gone. so is the money, I'm broke as a result of the vacation. I've changed department at work, and it's only a month until I'll be in my new job as a project engineer. I can't wait. I'm listening to Woven Hand and Grant Lee Phillips all the time, but also some White Stripes, Chemical Brothers, Placebo and Primal Scream.
