Start by entering all kinds of random combinations of the letters T M and O into a Note Pad text file and save it as Lesson2.txt before making the morse code program that you have downloaded and installed generate the code from your newly created text file. You might start with a greater spacing inbetween the letters than normal, but I would suggest that you keep the speed not too slow. In CW Player; Start at OPTION - SPACING set at 5.
Find a piece of paper and write down the letters generated by the program. Make sure not to look at the screen. Next compare the letters on your paper to the text on the screen or in your text file to make sure you got it all correct. Keep on doing this until you are in no doubt at all about the codes for these three letters.
Now slowly and step by step decrease the spacing and increase the speed until you are able to receive these letters perfectly at a speed almost as high as you are able to write them all down.
