Picture 6.2.3.1a:
Example of a small scale channel-like single feature, generated and eroded through traction processes of a turbulent current, on a sandstone bed surface. Extension of the preserved channel-like through is not determinable because of its cut off end, which is marked by the Lac du Lauzanier valley in the picture background. The break of the sides are significant, since the neighbouring sandstone surface contain coarse sand with pebbles, in contradiction, the fill is of medium grained sand with few pebbles.
