1. Leaving the country
Presumably you want a coach ticket to say your leaving
South Africa and going to Namibia? In which case the only coach company
that goes from Cape Town to Windhoek, (capital) is Inter Cape and they
wont let you book over the phone (sorry). The Baz bus dont go there, you
could try an over land adventure traval company as a few offer shuttle
runs across the border from Cape Town and they might be on the net. Try
'wild dog safaris' or 'nomad Safaris'. If you want somewhere to stay in
Windhoek the best place is the card board box backpackers. The best thing
to do would be to contact a backpackers in Cape Town and then get them to
arrange everything for you, then if there's any problem at immigration get
them to ring the backpackers (I suggest the pink elephant backpackers)
Hope thats helpful. |

2. S. Africa
The only place that the Baz bus crosses the border is into
Swaziland but I'm not sure if immagration will accept that. You should try the other companies like Intercape, Translux, or Greyhound if you wish to get a Ticket to places like Namibia, Zim etc... But be aware SA immagration usually want to see an on-ward ticket or some sort of proof that you will be leaving the contient. As for places to stay in Cape Town There is a lot to choose from But try Oak Lodge, Ashanti or The Carnaby as they are three of the better places Any way hope all goes well |
