Belinda has been singing and acting since she was 12 years old and dancing since she was 5.

She has worked in many musicals like “West side story”, “The wizard of oz, and “Chicago”.

When Belinda was 17 years old, she was singing in a band for a year and a half and she has also been vocally trained in classical and jazz for 6 years.

Belinda started in “Home and Away” as Rebecca Fisher in 1996, but she had a guest role in the same show in 1995 where she played Gail, a woman who had a couple of dates with Travis (Nic Testoni) when he still had a relationship with Kelly (Katrina Hobbs).

Belinda has also worked in “Hey Dad” where she played Tracy Russel. And like “Home and Away”, the show was made by Channel 7, which means she already knew a lot of the actors.

In 1996 she performed at the Seven Network`s Carols in the Domains with over 100.000 people. After the concert, Belinda said this:

”I have sung in a front of a few thousand people before and I did not really think this would be much different, but when you come out on stage and there are people as far as you can see and they all waving candles and looking at you.... it is an amazing feeling. I was nervous but it was a fantastic experience and I hope I can be there again next year”

And now, Belinda is one of the main characters at the concert every year.
