Releasedate: Mon 20.March 2000

The follow-up to 1998’s highly praised Rafi’s Revenge comprises of 14 hard-edged tracks with rumbling rhythms, expertly mixing influences and sounds from East and West. Giving uncompromising voice to the experiences of Asians in Britain, as well as touching on the still-potent issues of racism social injustice and equality, the album inspires you to action as well as providing outstanding entertainment. Opening track Real Great Britain launches a stinging attack on the hypocrisy of Tony Blair’s Government. Other blistering tracks include Memory War, Scaling New Heights, New way new life, Riddim I like, Ko Oligans and Officer XX, inspired by the Stephen Lawrence murder inquiry. A special tribute is even given to Qawwal legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan with Taa Deem. So the ADF revolution marches on and here, they’ve delivered a wonderful contribution to British Music that deserves to be heard far and wide.
