Aniruddha Das a.k.a. Dr.Das -bass +some vocals- Age: Dr Das got into the bass through listening extensively to reggae and falling in love with the cyclical bass melodies of dub. He got his rhythmic sense from having started out as a percussionist and his melodic sense from learning Indian scales on the harmonium as a youth. Before joining ADF, Dr Das had been in all kinds of bands from Bhangra to Hindi, to experimental jazz and dub. Musical Influences: Robbie Shakespeare, especially with Black Uhuru.
