My name is Arne Holm and I live in Hvittingfoss, Norway.

In my genealogy presentations there are probably some errors, but if I should be sure of no errors, nothing would ever be published. Please let me know of any errors you find! I will correct them.

Not all is prepared for internet yet, but will be added later.

This page is mainly about genealogy and emigration (mostly to USA) from Sandsvær (now a part of Kongsberg) in Norway.

My genealogy contains different families of both me and my wife. Most of the families are from the Kongsberg area.

The part about emigration from the same area is not ready for the internet yet, but will be added as soon as I have prepared it for presentation.

I also plan to put up listing from the church records for Sandsvær (Tuft (now; Hvittingfoss), Komnes, Efteløt and Hedenstad). A lot is done for Komnes and Efteløt, but Tuft and Hedenstad is sometime into the future.

Some old pictures may also be put up, but don't know when.

Note: Most of the text is in Norwegian. There are some persons listed at least twice, taken from different sources and some are with incorrect birthdates/age. This is a first attempt. My complete list ends late in the 1920th.
