Kennel
Nightwood is a small Norwegian flatcoated retriever kennel founded on
Scandinavian and English working lines. The focus of the breeding will be
on the working flatcoated retriever.
I live in
Elverum very close to large wood areas. This gives good opportunities for
exercising the dogs both summer and winter and it gives me great training
facilities. My priority is on the working flatcoats; I love to train my dogs, I
shoot over them, take them on “picking-up” and on field trials.
Although I
prefer working my flatcoats to showing them, I take my dogs to shows. I like my
flatcoats to be beautiful, but the most important for me is that my flatcoats
have a “will to please” temperament and that they are good working dogs.
I am member of
the Swedish Flatcoated Retriever Club (There is no Flatcoated Retriever Club in
Norway). I follow the Swedish code of ethics in breeding.
The kennel is located in Elverum, a small city in the county of Hedmark; approximately 2 hours drive northeast of Oslo.
